Choose where your Dappr Cash Card can be used

You can now decide which countries and currencies each of your Dappr Cash Cards may be used in. Open a card, choose Edit card restrictions, and pick the countries and currencies you want to allow. A purchase from anywhere else, or in any other currency, is stopped before it goes through. Leave a list empty and that kind of restriction is simply off.
Dappr also now checks every card purchase in real time for a few common signs of fraud, such as a burst of attempts with the same card, repeated attempts at one merchant, or a virtual card number being typed in by hand by a phone agent. When something looks off, the purchase is stopped instead of approved.

Whenever a purchase is stopped, whether by your own restrictions or by one of these checks, the cardholder gets a text message and a push notification straight away, explaining why. If it was you, tap the link to approve your next attempt, then simply try the purchase again.

If the purchase was stopped by a country or currency restriction, you can also allow that country or currency for 24 hours, a week, or a month, so you are not asked again on every purchase during a trip. Approving a country allows its currency for the same period. Active approvals are listed on the card, and you can end one early at any time.

Note that the country restriction is only enforced for in-person purchases. Currency restrictions are enforced for both in-person and online purchases.
