Sales settings

Roselyn avatar
Shared by Roselyn • May 02, 2026

The Settings page now has a Sales settings tab where admins (and users with the 'Sales settings' permission enabled) can configure how invoices and quotes behave for the business. You can set default memos, footers, payment terms, reminder schedules, accepted payment methods, failed payment retry rules, and quote response deadlines — without needing to update each invoice or quote individually.

  • Applies to: Admins and users with 'Sales settings' access enabled, in businesses subscribed to Dappr Sales (desktop web).
  • Location: Settings → Sales settings.
  • Invoice settings cover: branding/logo and business info links, default invoice memo, default footer, default payment terms (days after issuance), invoice reminder schedule, default payment options (ACH direct debit, card, wire transfer), and failed card payment retry schedule.
  • Quote settings cover: branding/logo and business info links, default quote memo, default footer, default response deadline (days after issuance), and pending-quote reminder schedule.

Rollout: May 1, 2026.

Payment history and credits on receipt PDFs

Tobias avatar
Shared by Tobias • April 25, 2026

Receipt PDFs now include a payment history section listing each payment made against the paid invoice — payment method, date, amount, and receipt ID. If the invoice has any credits applied (from the customer's credit balance or a credit note), each credit is itemized with a clear adjustment total. The general layout of invoice, quote, and receipt PDFs has also been refreshed.

  • Applies to: All businesses using Dappr Sales (invoicing and receipts).
  • Location: Sales → Invoices → open a paid invoice → three-dot icon → Download receipt PDF.
  • Payment history appears on receipts when the paid invoice has at least one associated payment. Credit lines appear whenever a credit balance or credit note has been applied to the invoice.

Rollout: April 24, 2026.

Link to hosted page on PDF exports

Roselyn avatar
Shared by Roselyn • April 02, 2026

Exported invoice and quote PDFs now include a clickable link — labeled "Pay online" or "View online" depending on whether the document accepts online payments — that opens the invoice's or quote's hosted page. This lets you send a PDF manually to your customer while still giving them a direct path to view, pay, or accept online. The link appears automatically on all new exports with no action required.

  • Applies to: All businesses using Dappr Invoices or Quotes (desktop web).
  • The link label is "Pay online" for invoices with online payments enabled, and "View online" otherwise. Quotes always show "View online."

Rollout: April 2, 2026.

Skip statements for inactive accounts

Cameron avatar
Shared by Cameron • March 24, 2026

You can now skip uploading a statement for any account that had no activity in a given month. Previously, the only way to clear a missing statement from your to-do list was to upload the statement — even if it was blank. Now, just hit "Skip" next to any statement you don't need to provide, and the task resolves without a file upload. If you change your mind, you can still upload a statement for that month from the account's menu.

  • Applies to: All businesses using Dappr Accounting (desktop web).
  • Location: Dashboard to-do → Upload statements, or Accounting → Overview → month to-do → Upload statements.
  • To upload a skipped statement later: Accounting → Bookkeeping → account menu (⋯) → Upload statement.

Invoice and quote attachments

Roselyn avatar
Shared by Roselyn • March 05, 2026

You can now attach files to invoices and quotes. Attachments appear as clickable links in the customer email and on the hosted payment page, so your customers get everything they need in one place — no separate follow-up email required.

Upload up to 10 files per invoice or quote (15 MB each). When creating or editing an invoice or quote, scroll to the Attachments section at the bottom and drag-and-drop or click to upload files one at a time.

A few ways you might use this:

  1. Attach a signed contract or statement of work so the customer has the agreement alongside the bill.
  2. Include a detailed project report, time log, or expense breakdown to support the line items.
  3. Send required tax documents (like a W-9) with the first invoice to a new client.
  4. Bundle product spec sheets, certificates of insurance, or license documentation that the customer needs on file.
  5. Attach a receipt or proof of a third-party expense you're passing through.

  • Applies to: All businesses using Dappr Sales invoices or quotes (desktop web).
  • Location: Sales → Billing → Invoices or Quotes → Create invoice / Create quote → scroll to Attachments.
  • Attachments are visible to your customer in both the emailed notification and the hosted invoice/quote page.

Full-Service Bookkeeping

Roselyn avatar
Shared by Roselyn • February 23, 2026

Full-Service Bookkeeping is now available beyond beta, with an in-app signup flow and a “My bookkeeper” dashboard once you’re subscribed. This gives businesses a dedicated bookkeeper to reconcile transactions and keep books current, with visibility into updates and a place for the bookkeeper to request supporting info.

  • Applies to: Businesses using Dappr Accounting (desktop web).
  • Location: Accounting → Hire a bookkeeper (to sign up); Accounting → My bookkeeper (after signup).
  • To subscribe, go to Accounting → Hire a bookkeeper, choose your expected monthly expense tier and billing plan, then submit the signup form. You won’t be charged until a bookkeeper has been assigned, and Dappr reviews the order within 1 business day.

  • Applies to: New businesses during the formation order flow, and existing businesses with a live company.
  • Location: Formation order flow (business address step); or for existing customers: Virtual Mailbox → Mailboxes → New mailbox.
  • Plans: Private Mailbox — $20/month or $199/year (PMB in CA/DE/FL). Office Address — $3,649/year (commercial-zoned physical business address in CA/DE/FL).

Cameron avatar
Shared by Cameron • February 11, 2026

  • Applies to: All businesses using Dappr Accounting PDF statement exports.
  • Location: Accounting → Reports and statements → Export.

Roselyn avatar
Shared by Roselyn • February 10, 2026

You can now view a business’s legal details (legal name, state of formation, state entity ID, and EIN) in the Dappr mobile app and mobile web app. This makes it faster to retrieve and copy official business information on the go.

You can also copy those details to clipboard by tapping on the relevant input.

  • Applies to: Users with permission to access the business’s records.
  • Location: Mobile (iOS/Android) and mobile web → Profile icon (top right) → Company details.

Introducing… the Changelog

Roselyn avatar
Shared by Roselyn • January 11, 2026

Yes, this is a bit meta. We’ve added a changelog so we can actually tell you what changes going forward.

Until now, updates mostly lived in our heads (and a few internal docs), which wasn’t great for transparency—or memory.

From here on out, this is where we’ll post what’s new, improved, and fixed in Dappr. Future entries will be less philosophical and more useful. Promise.

We look forward to keeping you updated!
